Blackpool Skip Hire Proud to Support the AIG Women’s Open 2026 at Royal Lytham & St Annes ⛳

This August, the eyes of the golfing world turned to the Fylde coast as Royal Lytham & St Annes hosted the 50th edition of the AIG Women’s Open — and Blackpool Skip Hire was proud to be there behind the scenes, supporting waste management for one of the biggest events in women’s sport.

Our Skips on a World Stage!

Our driver Ollie was on site throughout the build-up and captured some fantastic photos: our skip vehicle parked with the historic links course stretching out behind it, and the fairways looking suitably dramatic under cloudy Lancashire skies.

Happily, the clouds parted when it mattered — the sun came out in style for the championship itself, and the course looked magnificent all week.

Congratulations, Shiho Kuwaki!

A huge congratulations to Japan’s Shiho Kuwaki, who claimed her maiden major title in a dramatic two-hole playoff against Esther Henseleit. Winning the 50th AIG Women’s Open at a course as storied as Royal Lytham is a piece of history, and it was a privilege to play a small part in an event of this scale right on our doorstep.
