Blackpool Skip Hire joins Teale Materials

A new chapter for Blackpool Skip Hire (BSH).

We’re delighted to share some exciting news with our customers, partners, and the wider Blackpool, Fylde & North Lancashire community.

In March 2026, Blackpool Skip Hire officially became part of Teale Materials — a forward-thinking group led by twin brothers Jake and Josh Teale, with a strong reputation for sustainability, service, and a circular economy approach to Construction waste, recycling and aggregates in North Lancashire.

The Teale brothers thank outgoing Directors Anthony Mcgill & Kenneth Stephenson for their time spent at BSH & wish them all the best for the future.

We want to reassure our customers that it’s very much business as usual at Blackpool Skip Hire. The same reliable service, and the same commitment to serving you all with upmost efficiency.

What changes is what happens behind the scenes. As part of Teale Materials, we’ll be focused on continuous improvement — investing in our site at Kingscourt Recycling Centre, our plant, fleet, our team, and the systems that help us deliver an even better service to you.

New leadership: meet our General Manager

We’re equally pleased to announce that Carl Bagnall has been appointed as General Manager at Blackpool Skip Hire.

Carl knows the industry inside & out. Carl brings energy, experience, and a genuine passion. He’ll be a driving force for the company as we move into this exciting next chapter — leading day-to-day operations, championing our customers, and helping shape the future direction of the business.

Kate Carter also takes the reigns as Transport Manager. Kate is an experienced individual with impeccable attention to detail. Our extensive tipper & skip fleet of near 30 vehicles rests in good hands.

We have worked with both Carl & Kate for many years & we look forward to many more.
